1. Collection and use of information

1.a Service purposes

If you wish to use the mobile over IP app or other services provided by oneTcall srl, you will be asked to create (via app and/or web form) a “User Account”, providing your name, telephone number, email address and selecting a password.
YOUR CONSENT TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA FOR SERVICE-RELATED PURPOSES AS DESCRIBED HERE IS MANDATORY FOR THE PROVISION OF THE SERVICE.
Your name and email address, together with your password, will be used for accounting purposes related to the services and the site.
All your personal information for service purposes will be handled by Onetcall in full compliance with the requirements of Legislative Decree 196-2003.
Your phone number will be used for identification purposes, as well as the user ID; your email address will be used for access and communication purposes.
Onetcall, directly or through support from third parties (see paragraph 2.4), also maintains a Traffic Record or CDR (Call Detail Record see https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cartellino_di_traffico) for each call passing through the system. These are standard industry records used by all telephone companies. We maintain this information in order to better understand network behavior and trends (number of calls made by users, typical destinations, call lengths, network type, etc.), detect potential interruptions and technical problems (this helps us notice things such as variations in call volume in a certain geographic area, changes in call length, changes in typical networks, etc.) and for public safety reasons. All log analyses are carried out in an anonymous, aggregated, non-personally identifiable manner. We may examine a specific Call Detail Record in response to a customer support request.
In accordance with Legislative Decree 196-2003 you may request your last 6 months of CDR processed in the mobile over IP service, by registered mail to Onetcall Srl, attention: Privacy Policy Administrator, 60L, via Nuova Poggioreale, 80143 Naples (Italy).
All traffic information (your phone number and CDR) may also be processed for compliance with legal obligations and public safety requirements, for the time provided by law. Processing may also be carried out to ascertain liability in the event of hypothetical cybercrimes against the site and in any case of investigation by judicial authorities. In this case, the storage time of traffic information will depend on the duration of the investigation activities.
Audio calls by users are transmitted directly from user to user or, if direct transmission is not possible (due, for example, to firewalls), Onetcall srl servers are used to transmit the call. In the latter case, the transmitted information is briefly stored in volatile memory (RAM) solely to allow transmission of the call to the other user. WE WILL NOT record any part of your call.
The App may interact with your phone’s SMS, address book and call history solely for service activation purposes, placing incoming messages in the inbox, reading the content of the activation SMS sent to you by Onetcall. WE WILL NOT ACCESS THE CONTENT OF ANY OTHER SMS.

1.b Billing purposes

If you wish to use the app or other services provided by onetcall srl, you may be asked to provide billing data so that your payment for the service can be processed. We use third-party services to process payments and require these third parties to adopt appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data and traffic data and to comply with applicable laws. Please consult the terms of use and privacy policy of such third parties before providing banking or payment information.

This policy does not concern the disclosure of information. You are encouraged to act with discretion when providing personal information about yourself on and through forums. In order to manage calls, we provide this third party with your phone number and the phone numbers of the parties calling you. The third-party partner may in turn typically use another telecom operator which may use another telecom provider and so on until the call reaches its destination. This is a standard industry mechanism for transmitting telephone calls. The third-party partner is contractually obligated to use personal information only for completing the call.
